JB1 Piston Skirt Coating
Our new Piston Skirt coating JB-1 was designed to be more durable but also offer flexibility to the Engine builder. Now available, JB-1 Skirt coating offers a more Abrasion Resistant dry film lubricant on skirts. It can be applied in layers (up to 0.0015" Thick), which offers the engine builder more flexibility with Piston to wall clearance. At the time of order the customer just needs to specify the desired coating thickness and JB-1 should be able to compensate.
The coating is a lubricating, anti-friction / anti-wear coating applied to the piston skirt. JB-1 wears slowly over time and is designed to withstand many different types of endurance applications including NASCAR, dirt racing, rally racing, off-road racing, and much more!
With such a versatile coating, industry leading engine builders utilize the JB-1 coating on the vast majority of their engines for performance upgrades.
With the JB-1 piston skirt coating, users can expect less friction and wear.
